Hans Anders’ Easy Wear Luna Daily Lens Named ‘Best Buy’ by Testaankoop

Top quality at the lowest price, according to independent consumer organization

Hasselt, 1 July 2025 – The Easy Wear Luna daily contact lens, a private label of Hans Anders, has been awarded the ‘Best Buy’ label by Testaankoop, an independent and reputable Belgian consumer organization. In a comparative test of 21 daily lenses, Easy Wear Luna scored highest on price, quality, comfort, and technical performance.

“These daily lenses are not only of top quality, they are also the cheapest in our test. They allow good oxygen flow, have a comfortable fit, and offer excellent UV protection.” – Testaankoop

Strong performance in independent testing

The Easy Wear Luna lens performed well across all test criteria. Its power, diameter, base curve, and water content matched the stated specifications precisely. Oxygen permeability was rated highly, especially in the central part of the lens. In addition, the lens offers Class II UV protection, blocking at least 50% of UV-A and 95% of UV-B rays. At €0.83 per eye per day, it was also the most affordable lens in the entire test.

“This recognition confirms that our value-for-money strategy is working – and aligns with what customers truly care about,” says Karin van Braam, Chief Buying Officer at nexeye. “We combine quality and comfort with affordability, without compromising on performance.”

Innovative material and sustainable packaging

Made from silicone hydrogel, the Easy Wear Luna lens incorporates Aquagen technology for natural surface moisture, ensuring long-lasting wearing comfort. With a water content of 56% and high oxygen permeability, it offers a reliable daily solution for lens wearers.

The lens also scores well on sustainability: the packaging bears the Plastic Bank logo. For every box sold, an equivalent amount of plastic is removed from the ocean – a step toward plastic neutrality and social impact in vulnerable communities.

“As a product expert, it’s rare to see a lens that performs so well on every technical level and still costs less than one euro per day,” says Roy aan de Kerk, Category Manager Contact Lenses at Hans Anders. “This truly sets a new benchmark in the market.”

Independent testing under strict conditions

The Testaankoop study was conducted using a strict protocol: products were purchased anonymously and tested independently in certified laboratories. Easy Wear Luna emerged as the clear winner in terms of price-quality ratio.

A box of 30 lenses (for one eye) costs €12.50. The lens is available via hansanders.be, in all Hans Anders stores, and at an even better price through the Lenstotaalplan.
