New App “Show Don’t Tell” Increases Customer Satisfaction in nexeye’s Optician Stores

Nexeye proudly unveils “Show Don’t Tell,” an innovative app which supports employees and customers in making choices in the store. The app is developed in collaboration with Ditar an expert in augmented reality in eyewear. “Show Don’t Tell” empowers employees and customers to visualize and select eyewear options with unprecedented clarity by visualizing various lens options, colors, and frame styles.

Enhancing the Eyewear Experience

Director Business Development at nexeye, Yves van Hest who together with colleagues came up with the idea of the app: “By visually providing customers with a preview of possible eyewear options, they can much better discern which choices suit them based on lifestyle and appearance. The feedback from both store employees and customers has been very positive. It gives them more confidence in choosing frames and lenses, resulting in 1 in 10 customers making better choices, leading to higher customer satisfaction.”

The launch of the “Show Don’t Tell” app underscores our ongoing commitment to retail innovation, aiming to enhance customer satisfaction and experience, both in-store and online, and increase operational efficiency. This is the next step in realizing our mission to make high-quality eye and ear care accessible and affordable for everyone.
