Hans Anders, part of nexeye, has published a Dutch-language whitepaper presenting the results of the National Hearing Care Professionals Survey 2025. The research, conducted by Fan Factory, explores job happiness among hearing aid specialists in the Netherlands and audiologists in Belgium.

The findings show that job happiness in the hearing care sector is remarkably high, with professionals rating their sense of societal contribution at 8.4, significantly above sectors such as healthcare (7.4) and retail (7.6). This highlights the strong sense of purpose and direct impact on customers within the profession.

At the same time, the sector faces challenges. Work pressure is not primarily driven by client interaction, but by administrative tasks, planning, and procedures. Combined with a growing shortage of professionals and increasing demand for hearing solutions, sustainable employability remains a key priority.

With more than 20 years of experience in hearing care, Hans Anders operates 167 audiology retail locations across the Netherlands and Belgium. With this whitepaper, the company aims to provide the industry with valuable insights to strengthen job happiness and support the attraction and retention of talent.

The full whitepaper, including benchmarks and in-depth analyses, is available free of charge to the hearing care sector.
